
A supercomputing and data processing center (Data Center) is set to be established in Armenia under an investment program presented by Firebird AI CJSC. The facility will specialize in artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and high-performance computing (HPC).
The government has approved granting customs duty exemptions for imports within the framework of this priority investment project.
The program will be implemented in the Kotayk Province, with a total investment of about 170 billion drams. Of this amount, 5.7 billion drams will be allocated for construction, 139.8 billion drams for the acquisition of fixed assets, and 24.5 billion drams for raw materials.
As part of the project, 40 new jobs are expected to be created by 2030, with an average monthly salary of 400,000 drams.
The value of goods submitted for customs duty exemption amounts to 26.9 billion drams, while the exemption itself is estimated at 2.6 billion drams.
