
Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Magdalena Grono discussed the regional security situation during talks in Yerevan.
During the meeting, the sides positively assessed the importance of the recent European Political Community summit and the first Armenia-European Union summit held in Yerevan.
They also highlighted European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s remarks encouraging European companies to invest in Armenia.
The 8th summit of the European Political Community took place in Yerevan on May 4, followed by the first Armenia-European Union summit. Around 50 high-level delegations arrived in Armenia for the events, including European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. French President Emmanuel Macron also visited Yerevan, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made his first visit to Armenia.
