A groundbreaking ceremony for the new technology center of the company “Integral Solutions” was held in Engineering City. The symbolic capsule at the foundation of the building was placed by High-Tech Industry Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and the company’s co-founders Armen Baldryan and Eduard Musayelyan, the minister said on Facebook.
“A chip design company center will open in Engineering City,” the minister wrote.
The new technology center is expected to create 300 to 400 jobs, contributing to the attraction of highly qualified specialists to Armenia, the development of professional expertise and the expansion of the country’s technological ecosystem.
The new Integral Solutions technology center will also house the emulator supercomputer acquired by the company from Siemens, which is considered important for the development of the semiconductor industry. The system will allow Armenian companies to test and validate designed chips locally before moving to the manufacturing stage.
Until now, Armenian companies carried out that process abroad, incurring significant financial and time-related costs.
With this infrastructure, Armenia is positioning itself not only as a developer of software solutions, but also as a regional technology hub engaged in the design of proprietary hardware technologies and chips, strengthening the country’s technological competitiveness and advancing the fields of artificial intelligence and high technology.
