
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the Armenia-U.S. framework agreement on TRIPP has been signed.
“Just seconds ago, before your eyes, I signed the Armenia-U.S. framework agreement on TRIPP. As you may recall, it was initialed several days ago by me and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Secretary Rubio has now added his signatures to the agreement, and the document has been sent to Armenia. I have now signed it on behalf of the Armenian side as well. With this, the remote signing process has been completed, and the agreement is ready for ratification,” Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said.

The U.S. Embassy in Armenia reported that on June 3, the Board of Directors of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation approved several new strategic investments, including the establishment of the TRIPP Development Company as an Armenian-American joint venture.
The initiative is intended to support trade, transportation, economic development, and regional connectivity.
According to the International Development Finance Corporation, the company is expected to support the implementation of major infrastructure projects, including the development of railways, roads, pipelines, fiber-optic networks, and other systems.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan during a discussion of the State Department’s fiscal year 2027 budget request at the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Factor.am reports.
According to Rubio, the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has ended. “Not only did it end, but it ended with an agreement, in connection with which I signed a memorandum. It creates a new path to prosperity — TRIPP — that will provide extraordinary opportunities to both countries, especially Armenia, while respecting their sovereignty so that they can truly benefit from it,” Rubio stated.
During Marco Rubio’s visit to Yerevan on May 26, Armenia and the United States initialed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation related to the TRIPP project.
