
According to the results of the regular National Assembly elections, four political forces will be represented in the new parliament: the Civil Contract party, the Strong Armenia Alliance, the Armenia Alliance, and the Prosperous Armenia Party, News.am reports.
The mandates will be distributed as follows:
Civil Contract — 61 seats
Strong Armenia Alliance — 28 seats
Armenia Alliance — 11 seats
Prosperous Armenia Party — 5 seats
In the final stage of the count, the Prosperous Armenia Party succeeded in surpassing the 4 percent electoral threshold, allowing the political force to enter parliament.
A total of 105 deputies will serve in the new National Assembly. According to preliminary results from all 2,005 polling stations published by Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission, Civil Contract received 49.81% of the vote, the Strong Armenia Alliance 23.29%, the Armenia Alliance 9.94% (141,001 votes), and the Prosperous Armenia Party 4%.
