
On June 9 at 12:00 p.m., Territorial Electoral Commissions will hold sessions to review applications submitted for vote recounts and to conduct the required lotteries for organizing the recount process.
The sessions will be streamed live on the official website of the Central Electoral Commission in the “Territorial Electoral Commission Sessions” section.
In accordance with the requirements of the Electoral Code, the recount process must begin on June 9 at 2:00 p.m.
The recounts will be carried out at the Territorial Electoral Commissions and will be available through live broadcasts on the Central Electoral Commission’s website.
The sessions are open to all individuals who are legally entitled to participate in Territorial Electoral Commission meetings. Attendees must present a certificate confirming their right to participate, as well as a valid identification document.
According to preliminary results of Armenia’s June 7 National Assembly elections, the vote distribution was as follows: Civil Contract – 49.825%, Strong Armenia – 23.281%, Hayastan Alliance – 9.934%, Prosperous Armenia – 3.996%. Under these updated figures, Prosperous Armenia has not cleared the 4% threshold required for political parties.
