Civil Contract gains 39,059 more votes

Compared with 2021, the Civil Contract party received 39,059 more votes in the 2026 parliamentary elections, including 22,809 additional votes in Yerevan, Radar Armenia reports.

Vahagn Alexanyan, a member of the National Assembly’s Civil Contract faction, stated that the results of corrections and recounts showed that Civil Contract gained the largest increase in votes.

“And this is an indisputable fact. In other words, due to technical errors and inaccuracies, it was our votes that had been undercounted the most. As of now, Civil Contract has gained an additional 950 votes. No other political force had such a large number of missing votes.

I understand that the bosses of vote-buying agents want to impose a post-election theater script on them, but, dear people, it is unacceptable to once again try to treat the public as fools. You can continue your discussions about the election bribes pocketed by your middlemen and never delivered,” he wrote.

According to preliminary data, votes in the elections were distributed as follows: Civil Contract — 49.825 percent, Strong Armenia — 23.281 percent, Armenia Alliance — 9.934 percent, Prosperous Armenia — 3.996 percent. Updated figures indicate that the Prosperous Armenia Party has not passed the electoral threshold, which is 4 percent for parties. The party has requested recounts in several polling stations.
