Wings of Unity remains active, candidate says

The relative silence of the Wings of Unity political force is neither a pause nor a retreat, the party’s parliamentary candidate and former chairman of the State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, said in a Facebook post.

He added that this is the stage when the most important decisions and the most intensive work are being carried out away from public attention.

“At this moment, we are focused on serious legal and political work related to the electoral process — from recounts in Yerevan and several regional constituencies to evaluating all possible scenarios for future developments.

One thing is already clear: Wings of Unity has emerged as an influential political force, and that reality can no longer be ignored. Our role in upcoming political processes will depend not only on our own actions but also on the broader political developments expected in the country.

The situation in Armenia is still far from being resolved. Difficult, decisive and possibly transformative developments lie ahead.

Therefore, at this stage, more than ever, composure, inner strength, organization and readiness for any scenario of political struggle are required.

We are working. We have not retreated. And our struggle continues,” he wrote.

According to preliminary data, votes in the elections were distributed as follows: Civil Contract — 49.825 percent, Strong Armenia — 23.281 percent, Armenia Alliance — 9.934 percent, Prosperous Armenia — 3.996 percent. Updated figures indicate that the Prosperous Armenia Party has not passed the electoral threshold, which is 4 percent for parties. The party has requested recounts in several polling stations.
