Narek Karapetyan expressed gratitude to residents of Stepanavan for their support in the parliamentary elections, stressing that the trust shown by voters would guide the party’s future work.

Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Political Council of the Strong Armenia party, addressed residents of Stepanavan during a Facebook livestream, thanking them for the votes they cast in support of the party.

“Know that we will never let your trust down,” he said.

Karapetyan noted that amid the election process and tense vote recounts, it is important to appreciate the confidence demonstrated by citizens.

“Today, I would like to thank my fellow countrymen in Stepanavan. Dear residents of Stepanavan, thank you for giving us a victory of trust.

Know that we will never let your trust down. We will visit next week and have a major event planned in Stepanavan. We have a project related to the city and want to present a very good gift to the community. Rest assured that the community and the city will remain at the center of our ongoing work and actions, and we will respond to your attitude and trust many times over,” he said.

According to preliminary results, the votes were distributed as follows: Civil Contract received 49.825 percent, Strong Armenia 23.281 percent, the Armenia Alliance 9.934 percent, and Prosperous Armenia 3.996 percent. Updated figures indicate that Prosperous Armenia has failed to clear the 4 percent threshold required for parties, and the party has requested recounts in several polling stations.
