The Central Election Commission (CEC) has urged the public to wait for the final election results on June 14, outlining the decisions it may adopt on that date.

The commission noted that, under Article 95 of the Electoral Code constitutional law, it will summarize the results of the regular National Assembly elections on June 14, in accordance with the procedures and deadlines established by Article 75 of the code, and adopt one of the following decisions:

• On the election of the National Assembly and the allocation of mandates.
• On the preliminary distribution of National Assembly mandates.
• On scheduling a repeat vote in specific polling stations.
• On declaring the National Assembly elections invalid and scheduling a repeat election.
• On declaring a repeat election of the National Assembly invalid. In that case, the President of the Republic shall call new regular National Assembly elections.

“At this stage, any official comment by the CEC regarding the situation may be perceived as a prejudgment. Therefore, we call on everyone to wait for the final tabulation of the voting results on June 14. The session will be broadcast live and will also be open for media coverage, as well as for those entities entitled to attend CEC meetings. Immediately after the session, the CEC chairman will hold a press conference,” the statement said.

According to preliminary data, the votes were distributed as follows: Civil Contract — 49.825%, Strong Armenia — 23.281%, Hayastan Alliance — 9.934%, Prosperous Armenia — 3.996%. Under updated figures, Prosperous Armenia does not pass the 4% threshold required for parties and has requested recounts in several polling stations.

Late on June 11, the CEC decided to invalidate the voting results at polling stations No. 10/51 and 35/65. As a result, Prosperous Armenia lost a total of 213 votes, reducing its chances of surpassing the 4% threshold required to enter parliament.
