Alen Ghévondyan, a lecturer at Yerevan State University, has been placed under administrative supervision as a preventive measure. Ghévondyan is accused of making public calls aimed at seizing power and violently overthrowing the constitutional order, the Investigative Committee said, according to Armenpress.

The Investigative Committee petitioned the court to impose administrative supervision as a preventive measure against Alen Ghévondyan, and the court granted the request.

Alen Ghévondyan was detained on June 12.
