
The Armenian government has approved state support for a number of community development initiatives and will allocate 1 billion 634 million drams from the state budget to co-finance subsidy programs implemented by local communities.
“I present the government decision draft on co-financing community development programs with state participation in the amount of 1 billion 634 million drams,” Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan said during a cabinet meeting, according to Panorama.am.
The minister noted that the proposal provides co-financing for 16 subsidy projects in 13 communities.
Khudatyan also outlined the regional distribution of the projects to receive support:
He added that, with the approval of the current package, the total volume of co-financed programs will reach 7 billion 35 million drams.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, following his usual practice, also listed all of the approved projects.
