On June 19, Aram Vardevanyan, representing the Strong Armenia alliance of political parties, submitted an application to the Constitutional Court seeking to invalidate the results of the June 7 National Assembly elections. The announcement was made by the alliance’s press secretary, Marianna Ghahramanyan.
The alliance also considers the scheduling of a second round of voting to be an acceptable option.
“Based on what it describes as widespread and organized electoral violations orchestrated by the authorities, the alliance demands that Constitutional Court invalidate Decision No. 258-A of June 14, 2026, adopted by the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia regarding the results of the June 7, 2026 National Assembly elections, and declare the election results invalid, or order a second round of elections,” Ghahramanyan stated.
