Anti-Corruption Committee releases new recordings

Armenia's Anti-Corruption Committee has released new audio recordings related to an investigation into alleged election bribery.

According to the committee, investigative measures carried out by its officers produced factual data indicating that individuals acting on behalf of the Strong Armenia party allegedly offered election bribes to several voters in the Arbat settlement of the Masis community in Ararat Province. The committee alleges that the payments were made in exchange for voting for the party in the parliamentary elections and recruiting supporters to attend a gathering near the party leader's residence.

A criminal investigation has been launched in connection with the incident. Several individuals have been detained, and procedural investigative actions have been carried out.
