Samvel Terteryan captured the gold medal in the 77 kg Greco-Roman event at the European Under-20 Wrestling Championships in Skopje.

In the final, Terteryan defeated Azerbaijan's Javidan Nahmatov 4-0.

The Greco-Roman wrestler dominated throughout the tournament. In his opening bout, he defeated his Austrian opponent 9-0. He then advanced with another 9-0 victory over a Moldovan wrestler in the quarterfinals before beating Sweden's representative 8-0 in the semifinals.

Armenia's other representatives, Edgar Petrosyan (55 kg) and Alex Margaryan (63 kg), won silver medals, while Yurik Petrosyan claimed bronze in the 87 kg category.
