
Armenia's COP17 organizing committee held another meeting to evaluate ongoing preparations for the conference and coordinate the next stages of planning.
Only a few months remain before the event opens. During the session, chaired by Environment Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, participants examined the status of organizational work and identified key tasks that still need to be completed.
According to the Ministry of Environment, the discussion covered arrangements for the high-level segment and the Leaders' Summit, preparations for the Blue and Green Zones, infrastructure and technical upgrades at conference venues, measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply, the readiness of transport and road networks, as well as healthcare services and medical safety planning.
COP17 will take place in Yerevan from October 19 to 30.
