
Armenia's new parliament will consist of 105 members. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) held a session with two items on its agenda.
Under the first item, the commission reviewed and annulled the registrations of candidates from the Civil Contract party, the Strong Armenia alliance and the Hayastan alliance who had submitted self-withdrawal applications or declined their parliamentary mandates.
Under the second item, the CEC approved the official protocol on the registration of the elected members of parliament and the issuance of their mandates.
The Civil Contract party will hold 64 seats in parliament, the Strong Armenia alliance will receive 29 seats, and the Hayastan alliance will hold 12 seats.
