
The Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of Armenia's Ministry of Environment has published data on dust concentrations recorded in the atmospheric air of the country's cities during the monitoring period.
According to air quality observations conducted in Yerevan between July 15 and July 21, dust concentrations exceeded the maximum permissible concentration as follows:
Kentron administrative district — on nearly the entire week.
Arabkir administrative district — no exceedances recorded.
Shengavit administrative district — no exceedances recorded.
Nor Nork administrative district — no exceedances recorded.
At the same time, concentrations of nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide remained within the permitted limits.
In Vanadzor, dust concentrations exceeded the maximum permissible concentration:
Near Tsaturyan Street — on July 14 and July 18.
Near Heratsi Street — no exceedances recorded.
Near Vardanants Street — no exceedances recorded.
In Alaverdi:
On the Sanahin Plateau — on July 12 and July 15.
Near Debed Street — on July 15.
In the city of Ararat, dust concentrations exceeded the permitted limit on July 15 and July 17.
In Hrazdan, the same indicator exceeded the maximum permissible concentration on July 12 and July 15.
