Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received participants of the 13th Homenetmen Pan-Armenian Jamboree at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, emphasizing the importance of national unity and selfless service to the interests of the Armenian nation.

Addressing the challenges facing the Armenian people and the homeland, the Catholicos stressed that now, more than ever, national unity, brotherly love, and unwavering dedication to common national interests are essential. He said that only through love, solidarity, and united efforts would it be possible to overcome current trials and build a peaceful, secure, and prosperous homeland.

Extending his patriarchal blessing to those present, His Holiness expressed satisfaction at the gathering of Armenian youth from around the world in their homeland, as well as at the educational, cultural, and spiritual programs organized within the framework of the jamboree. He described such homeland-oriented initiatives as vital for strengthening young people's national identity and their commitment to serving the nation and the homeland.

The Catholicos emphasized that by spending time in Armenia, young participants become acquainted with the realities of their homeland, learn more about the history, culture, spiritual heritage, and sacred sites of the Armenian people, and deepen their understanding of their own identity. He expressed confidence that the days they spend in Armenia would remain unforgettable, enriched by new spiritual experiences, warm memories, and meaningful discoveries.

He also welcomed the participants' patriotism, devotion to God, and commitment to the Armenian Church, noting that these values sustain national life, unite Armenians throughout the world, and strengthen the Armenian people's faith and hope for the future.

The Catholicos expressed appreciation to the members of the Homenetmen Central Executive, the organizers of the jamboree, and representatives of Armenian national organizations for their dedicated service in educating the younger generation, fostering national and spiritual values, and shaping Armenian identity.

The jamboree, held every four years, has brought together about 900 scouts from 26 countries this year.
