On September 30, RA Basketball Federation President Hrachya Rostomyan will visit Athens on the invitation of FIBA (International Basketball Association) Europe Head George Vasilakopulos. According to FBA press service, the meeting will focus on a number of issues including basketball development in Armenia.

In 2008, International Basketball Association started to develop a special program for basketball development in Armenia.
