Robotics championship opened in Yerevan
In the framework of DigiTec2009 exhibition robotics championship opened in Armenia (ArmRobotics 2009) Robot Going Along the Line" . The competition has been organized by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE). 9 groups from different universities, organizations and schools took part in the competition.
The competition took place in two stages: the first phase took place in December last year, the second phase was organized in October 2009.
The Autotekh group took the first place in the contest and received a prize of 150 thousand AMD. The TopRobotics team received 100 thousand AMD. However, two groups received consolation prizes of 25 thousand AMD, Mariam Nahapetyan, manager of ArmRobotics 2009 told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
