SECTION 907 OF FREEDOM SUPPORT ACT DID NOT LET USA RENDER MILITARY AID TO AZERBAIJAN AND ARMENIA
Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act, waived recently by official Washington, did not let USA render military aid to Azerbaijan. By the same reason Washington also did not give military assistance to Armenia, US Ambassador in Azerbaijan Ross Wilson stated in Baku. According to Baku mass media reports, the Ambassador noted that another delegation representing the military circles of the country would arrive in the region at the turn of March. "Henceforth we are going to give military assistance both to Azerbaijan and Armenia. It is in the interests of the United States itself," - the American diplomat noted. Referring to Pentagon high rank officials' recent visits to Baku and Yerevan, where questions of military cooperation between the two countries were discussed, he said that according to the data supplied to him the circle of the discussed questions did not differ.
