SUPREME CLERICAL COUNCIL OF ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH DISTURBED BY CILICIA CATHOLICOSATE INTENTION TO OPEN DIOCESE IN CANADA
Session of the Supreme Clerical Council of the Armenian Apostolic Church continued work January 10-11 in Holy Etchmiadzin. Among other questions the members of the Council discussed the prospects of Cilicia Catholicosate opening a diocese in Canada. The session participants addressed a letter to Antilias Patriarch, in which they stated their concern on this occasion. A decision was made at the sitting to convene Episcopal Council in October. The Supreme Clerical Council considered the process of preparing the bill of amendments to the Regulations of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The Council increased the number of members of the commission working on the Regulations and included new persons in it.
