RA National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan met with U.S. Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Threat Reduction Ann Ganzer in Yerevan. As the press office of the National Security Council reported, during the meetings the officials discussed issues of modernization of border infrastructure and improvement of border security.

At the request of the U.S. side, Arthur Baghdasaryan presented the work undertaken towards modernization of border infrastructure and border security. The officials emphasized the importance of developing and implementing border security strategies for Armenia in accordance with international standards. This question is included in the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).
