Heads of the military departments of Armenia and Greece have adopted the program of military cooperation for 2002. The corresponding document was signed the other day in Athens during the official visit of the Chief of the general staff of the armed forces of the country, lieutenant general Mikayel Harutyunian. Monday Deputy Defense Minister of Greece Dimitrius Apostolakis will arrive in Yerevan, where he will hold negotiations with Defense Minister Serge Sargsian and Chief of the general staff Harutyunian. Matters connected with the aid of the Greek side in formation of Armenian peacemaking battalion and training Armenian cadets in military academies of Greece will be discussed in particular.
