Turkologist Ruben Melkonyan said that the Jewish lobby of the U.S. is not a reliable partner for Armenia.

“The Jewish lobby may make statements in the context of the Turkish-Israeli conflict, but as soon as relations between the two countries improve, it will step back,” Melkonyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“Armenia should not pin any serious hopes on the Jewish lobby,” the Armenian expert noted, adding that Armenia can, however, gain dividends from the Turkish-Israeli dispute.
