The Armenian community of Glendale was disappointed to see President Barack Obama break his promise, said Ara Najarian, Mayor of Glendale.

“The reason for it is the Turkish lobby,” he told a news conference in Yerevan on July 8.

Najarian said the community will not spare efforts for adoption of H.Res. 252 by the House of Representatives.

He presumed that the U.S. President will recognize the Armenian Genocide next year.
