On July 22, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with 30 holders of Lyus Foundation scholarship. RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in the meeting.

Issues related to education abroad, application of knowledge gained, as well as students’ job placement on return to Armenia were discussed.

“All our students showed readiness to both work and create jobs in Armenia,” Lyus Foundation Executive Director Jacqueline Karaaslanian stated.

This year, Lyus Foundation will fully or partially sponsor the education of 70 Armenian students to study in 25 foreign universities. The Foundation was constituted by Armenian President Serzh Sargyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

Students’ tuition fee is covered by Armenian businessmen partnering with the Foundation.
