Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in a solemn event dedicated to Day of Constructor .

Congratulating constructors on the holidy, the Prime Minister noted that 2009 was a year of tests first of all for the construction industry, the RA government’s press service reported.

“A considerable drop in capital investments was recorded first of all in the construction industry, what has affected the entire economy,” said Mr. Sargsyan.

According to him, the trends of the first half of 2010 indicate that the construction industry is gradually overcmoing the crisis situation. Meanwhile, large-scale programs financed by the state budget significantly contribute to this.

“These works will be continued, and it is important that new initiatives of the RA Minisry of Urban Development diversify constructors’ functions,” noted Mr. Sargsyan.

Besides, the Prime Minister said that Armenai has great opportunities and abilities for creating a wonderful state, while constructors play an important role in it.
