Protocol on extension of Russian military base deployment till 2044 is a basis for special inter-allied relations between the Armenia and Russia, RF President Dmitry Medvedev believes.

“The existing traditions between Armenian and Russian nations are being strengthened to this day. Armenia and Russia will unite efforts in preservation of peace and security in Caucasus, within the frameworks of jointly created structures. Together, we’ll be struggling against current challenges,” said the Dmitry Medvedev, who participated at Mound of Honor opening ceremony jointly with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
