On September 19, Armenia’s Elen Grigoryan (weight class 53kg) was 12th at the World Weightlifting Championships, lifting 186kg in snatch and clean & jerk combination. China’s Chen Xiaoting won the champion’s title, lifting 222kg.

Armenia’s Christine Petrosyan (weight class 63kg), European champion Meline Daluzyan (weight class 69kg) and silver winner of World Championships Hripsime Khurshudyan (weight class 75kg) will enter the competition on September 20, 22 and 23 respectively.
