ARMENIAN NUCLEAR POWER STATION WILL HAVE BEEN STARTED AGAIN BY THE END OF AUGUST
The Armenian nuclear power station will have been started again by the end of August. According to "Arka" agency, by August 10 a new part of nuclear fuel from Russia will have been delivered to the NPS. The Armenian NPS stopped its activity for 45 days since July 10 due to planned prophylactic operations. It should be reminded that as a result of negotiations in Moscow, International State bank granted the Armenian NPS $4 mln credit, with 9.9% percentage rate annually for 6 months. It was reached an agreement for repayment of debts for nuclear fuel. Armenia contracts an obligation to start the repayment of the $17 mln debt of last years starting November 2001. The debt repayment is planned to be completed June 2002.
