Alterations in Russia’s foreign policy can lead to unpredictable consequences for Armenia

Any developments are possible in Armenia from the viewpoint of regional processes, according to the former Interior Minister of Armenia, ex-member of Karabakh committee Ashot Manucharyan.

“Russia’s precise foreign policy prevented force majeure situation in Karabakh process. So, any alterations can lead to unpredictable consequences,” Manucharyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

The politician disagreed with the statement that Moscow is the main influencing factor in Armenia. “Russia has an influence over Armenia, which is, however, inferior to the rapidly increasing influence of the west,” he emphasized.
