Conservatory named after Kurdish musician of Armenian descent Aram Tigran will open in Diarbekir, Turkey, on November 1, 2010.

Music and dancing as well as theater, cinema and photo art will be tutored in the conservatory, according to a HaberFX report.

Aram Tigran was a saz player. After long years of immigration, he died in Paris in 2009. The Turkish authorities issued permission to bury the musician in his native Diarbekir only 6 months after his death.
