On October 18, Armenian National Assembly (RA NA) Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with the Deputy Speaker of Lithuanian Seimas, head of Armenia-Lithuania interparliamentary friendship group Algis Kaseta.

Abrahamyan conferred a RA NA honorary medal on Kaseta for his contribution to adoption of the Armenian Genocide Resolution by the Seimas.

As Abrahamayn noted, Kasteta’s visit to Yerevan will further activate bilateral relations as well as interparliamentary ties.

Kasteta, in turn, urged for condemnation of the Genocide and called on Turkey to acknowledge this crime against humanity, RA NA press service reported.
