On October 18, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Deputy Speaker of Lithuania's Seimas, head of the Armenian-Lithuanian parliamentary friendship group Algis Kaseta.

The Armenian Foreign Minister noted that the political dialogue between Armenia and Lithuania is at a high level, adding that efficient cooperation is established also in international organizations. The parties stressed the necessity of intensifying the trade and economic cooperation.

Besides, the two men discussed steps aimed at development of parliamentary cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania, as well as collaboration of the two countries’ delegations in parliamentary assemblies of international organizations.

Nalbandian and Kaseta referred to a range of bilateral, regional and international matters, as well as cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, the RA MFA press service reported.
