Stepanakert airdrome to be put into operation in mid-November

The airdrome in Stepanakert, Arstakh Republic will be put into operation in mid-November 2010.

“Currently, assembly operations are being accomplished. The air terminal will be built by the end of November; the entire complex will be enabled in spring 2011. Until this time the airdrome will operate in the simplest regime,” head of the civil aviation department at the NKR government Dmitry Atbashyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

The price for Yerevan-Stepanakert-Yerevan flight will be presumably AMD 16 000-20 000; the maximum price will not go beyond 25 000.

Flights to CIS countries are also envisages in the future.

Atbashyan also noted that a number of foreign travel agents show interest in the airdrome.
