President of the Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) and World Armenian Congress Ara Abrahamyan said that UAR will pursue a new policy and expand its activity in 2011.

In his opening remarks at the fourth congress of the UAR dedicated to the organization’s 10th anniversary, Abrahamyan said that the Union has many new projects and business plans to be implemented in 2011.

“The projects have become more modernized and are aimed at boosting friendly relations between Russia and Armenia, preventing social, national and religious conflicts,” noted Abrahamyan.

According to the UAR President, the organization’s priority remains active work with youth, ITAR-TASS reported.
