Construction project of the city residence of Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II is under discussion.

As spokesman for Holy Etchmiadzin Vahram Melikyan told PanARMENIAN.Net, “the project is currently being considered by relevant institutions and Yerevan Mayor’s Office to be further submitted for confirmation.”

The residence, to serve as an official meetings site, will be located at the intersection of Sayat-Nova and Abovyan streets, in Katoghike Church premises.
