Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated that possibility of adopting decisions in a limited format is an important instance for the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

“The tragic events which took place in the CSTO territory in spring and summer revealed the legal gap, which blocked any possibility to render essential assistance,” Serzh Sargsyan said when addressing a meeting of CSTO leaders in Moscow.

The existence of an efficient mechanism will help fix the crisis at the very beginning, according to him.

“To that end, the CSTO should ensure fill operation of the rapid reaction force,” President Sargsyan said.
