The year of 2010 proved the initiative policy of Armenia wrong, according to deputy chairman of Heritage party Ruben Hakobyan.
“In contrast to Turkey, which increased its regional presence, also managing to hamper international recognition of Genocide, Armenia gained nothing from the rapprochement attempt,” Hakobyan told a news conference in Yerevan.
Dwelling on Karabakh settlement, Hakobyan noted that Armenian authorities haven’t succeeded in populating the liberated territories, satisfying themselves with preservation of status quo.
Hakobyan, however, gave high assessment to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s latest statements on Karabakh, containing an adequate response to militaristic declarations of Azerbaijan.
