Famous boxer Vic Darchinyan, currently in Armenia after a long absence, shared his impressions in a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
“I’ve missed Armenia. Despite the cold weather, I, as always, feel perfect in Armenia. I plan to leave for Australia in early February to start training.”
As the boxer noted, the fight against Abner Mares, where the latter was announced a winner, was appealed against by his team. “I was certain of the victory, and attempted to show a more technical combat, yet the arbiters were unfair in giving the victory to Mares,” Darchinyan said.
Darchinyan is, however, full of spirit, planning to take best efforts in preparing for a combat with Yonnhy Perez at the second half of the bantamweight tournament.
