CEO of NASDAQ OMX Armenia Armen Melikyan said that the number of companies keeping their shareholder registries with the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) currently reached 1,573.

The number grew by 370 and 168 in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

The number of personal securities accounts serviced by the CDA reached 157,000 in 2010, Melikyan told a press conference in Yerevan.
