Tragic incident, entailing the death of a serviceman in one of NKR defense army’s military units, was caused by interpersonal issues, according to Armenian Defense Minister.

As Seyran Ohanyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the servicemen died in a fight, with names of 3 persons participating in the battering revealed at present.

Ohanyan stressed the importance of open and transparent approach in Defense Ministry’s operations, further dwelling on continuing reforms aimed at boosting soldiers’ morale and military education.

Soldier Gevorg Kotinyan, 19, died in an incident in one of Nagorno Karabakh military units. Investigation is under way.
