Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with a delegation of Fortune Oil company led by Executive Vice-Chairman Daniel Chiu.

Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Changchun also participated in the meeting, the RA governmental press service reported.

The parties discussed USD 500mln worth investment program of the Company in Armenia’s mining industry.

Sargsyan said that the Armenian government attaches importance to investments in the mining field and praises the investment program of Fortune Oil.

The company’s representatives noted for their part that the investment program will allow creating new jobs in Armenia; besides, new technologies will be introduced with observation of the highest environmental requirements.
