Russia coach Dick Advocaat expressed sympathy with goalkeeper Vyacheslav Malafeev whose wife died in a car accident.

"I will arrive in Russia on March 19 and meet with coaches, after which I will decide whether another goalkeeper will be invited to the national team," sovsport.ru quoted Advocaat as saying.

There are rumors that Malafeev may be substituted by Russia's number one goalkeeper Igor Akinfeyev.

Russia will rival Armenia in UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier at Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan on March 26.

Prior to this match, fans of the two national teams will also compete in Yerevan on March 26, the Russian Football Union said on its official website.

Besides, Armenia's and Russia's veterans will compete on March 25 at Mika stadium.
