The board of directors at Real Madrid have named Spain coach Vicente del Bosque, tennis star Rafael Nadal and tenor Placido Domingo as honorary club members.

The trio were bestowed this honour by club president Florentino Perez, who acknowledged the "professional careers of these illustrious Madridistas," goal.com reported.
