Azerbaijan is seriously preparing for a possible resumption of military actions in Kahabakh, according to the head of the Doctrine, center for military studies.

As Jasur Sumerenli stated, the increase of the country’s military budget to exorbitant figure of AZN 3,2 billion is a clear proof of the fact.

“I do not expect a war in the immediate future, as preparations and strengthening of material and technical base of the army are in progress. At the same time, the tension on the contact line will be preserved. Provocations and military clashes are possible,” the expert said.

In conclusion, the expert stressed the necessity of enhancing military and patriotic propaganda, increasing social and material conditions for the servicemen and preparing the society for a possible military outcome of a Karabakh conflict.
