INDUSTRIAL GROWTH MADE 6.4 % IN ARMENIA LAST YEAR
YEREVAN, March 7. /Mediamax/. According to the data of the State statistics committee of the Russian Federation, the growth of industrial production in Armenia made 6.4 per cent in 2000.
Industrial growth was observed in all the CIS states, but the highest index was fixed in Kazakhstan - 14.6 %. The Ukraine ranks second - 12.9 %, then come Tajikistan - 10.3%, and Russia - 9 %.
The growth of industrial production in Belarus made 8 % in 2000, in Azerbaijan- 6.9%, in Georgia - 6.1%, in Kirghizstan - 6% and in Moldavia 2.3 per cent.
No production decrease is registered in any of the countries. The State Statistics committee of the Russian Federation has no information about the situation in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.- -0--
