In the first quarter of 2011, South Caucasus Railways (SCR) CJSC freight transportation volumes grew by 15,8%; a 16,8% increase was reported in fright turnover compared with 2010 results.At news conference in Yerevan, SCR Director General Shevket Shaydullin gave high assessment to the dynamic of fright transportation volumes growth. As he noted, the company’s tariff policy aimed at stabilization of growth and increase of competitiveness dynamic made the results achieved possible.
